Julie Feigeles has 35 years of litigation experience in the state and federal courts. She has represented clients in all aspects of commercial and civil litigation, including but not limited to contract disputes, business torts, banking litigation, real estate related litigation, including residential and commercial mortgage foreclosures, insurance coverage, and post-judgment collection and other creditors’ rights and remedies. She also has defended corporations in matters involving toxic torts, and has extensive experience managing complex volume tort litigation.
Julie is admitted to practice in the State and Federal District Courts of Florida and Colorado, and the Bankruptcy Courts in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Over the years, she has been involved in numerous Florida Bar activities, including serving on the Equal Opportunity Law Section (Executive Council 1996-2007), the Constitutional Judiciary Committee (2012-2014), the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee (1993-1996), and a Florida Bar Grievance Committee (Chair, 1992-1995). Julie currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors of Casa Valentina, a non-profit that assists young women and men who age out of foster care in their transition to independence (2006-present), and is an elected member of the Board of Directors of her condominium association (2014-present). Julie received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, magna cum laude, and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami. She is Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated. While in law school, she passed the CPA exam on the first sitting, and often relies on her accounting background in the representation of her clients.
